Batman and Robin were found dumped in a remote park in Snoqualmie. After being trapped, they have been in foster and training, and are now ready for adoption.
While they can be adopted separately, we would love to see the adopted together.
For more information on each dog, see the detailed listings for them below.

Batman is a gorgeous, happy boy who is energetic and looking for a home with a strong leader who is active and will keep him busy and engaged. His age is estimated to be 2-3 years old and he’s approximately 80-90lbs.
In April, Batman was found dumped in a remote park in Snoqualmie, along with another German Shepherd, Robin. He was in the care of another organizaton but having been part of his rescue and having his buddy Robin in our care, we wanted to bring him back to Snoqualmie and offered to take him.
Batman wasn’t neutered when he was first found and had some attitude, wanting to do things on his own terms. He has since been neutered and more importantly, he’s spent quite a bit of time at board and train. He is now a total love bug but will need an owner with power breed experience that can lead him instead of letting him lead them.
Batman loves the ladies, and would do well living with a female dog that he could play with. Robin, who he adores, is also available for adoption and while they can be adopted separately, they’d be happy to be back together. Batman is mostly indifferent with male dogs, but does not like the intact dog also in foster care with him at this time. (That dog is brand new to our rescue and being neutered shortly) He may be able to live with a male dog, but he’ll need to be tested with any dogs already in the family.
With a lot of energy to burn, he’d love to be a running buddy or hiking buddy, NEVER off leash, or have a huge, fenced yard where he can play fetch with his favorite toys. He does know how to settle down and just chill too but understand, he will need his exercise or he will likely get up to no good.
Batman is currently in a home with younger children and has been great with them, but they are also very dog savvy, so we recommend older children but are happy to discuss on a case by case basis. We have not yet evaluated Batman with cats other than at a distance, and he hasn’t shown any interest so far.
Batman's adoption fee is $200. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines and microchipped.

Robin is happy girl who loves to play but likes her down time as well. She can be very timid when she first meets people but craves attention. Her age is estimated to be 3 years old and she weighs approximately 45-50lbs.
In April, Robin was found dumped in a remote park in Snoqualmie, along with another German Shepherd, Batman. She has been in a foster home since then that has helped to build her confidence and trust in people.
Robin would love to have another dog to play with, and her ideal family member would be Batman, who is also available for adoption. While they can be adopted separately, they’d be happy to be back together.
Robin loves to play ball and will go as long as you’re willing to throw it. She loves other toys as well and will entertain herself. Her home must have a very secure, fenced yard as she is a run risk. She can never be taken off leash outside of a contained yard and we strongly recommend that she wear her harness and be double clipped to her harness and collar on walks.
Robin has a strong prey drive and will take care of any moles in your yard but has done well with cats indoors. We aren't sure if a cat was outdoors and ran if her prey drive would kick in, so we suggest a home with no cats or indoor only cats. We also recommend a slow introduction with the cats having a place they can escape to while they adjust to life together. Kids in the home must be dog savvy, and aware enough to know that they can’t forget to close the door.
Robin’s adoption fee is $200. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped.

Bonnie, along with Clyde, was abandoned at Exit 45 off I-90. Volunteers, including SVPS founders Susan Burk and Dorie Ross, helped to capture them and get them to the local shelter for their mandatory hold time.
Bonnie wasn't doing well in the shelter, so once her hold time was up, SVPS decided to take her in as well as Clyde.
Bonnie and Clyde are currently in a boarding and training program, where they are doing incredibly well. They are both goofy, lovable dogs that will make great family members.
They are both approximately 5 years old but are still very playful. Both would like to eat their meals in one big gulp, but they are being trained to wait until they are given the command to eat, and we have them eating from slow feeder bowls, which is helping.
These two get along great and could be adopted together, but would do fine if they went to separate homes. As for other dogs, they have been indifferent so far when seeing other dogs at the training facility they are currently in. Additional exposure and
assessments will be done so we have a better idea of whether or not they'd do well in a home with other dogs besides each other.
Bonnie is more timid than Clyde and takes a little longer to warm up when first meeting people. Once she gets to know you, though, she wants to be your best friend and loves attention. Since being in board and train, her confidence has improved, and we have no doubt it will continue to do so.
Bonnie's adoption fee is $200. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped.

Arthur was dumped on a highway and never claimed once rescued.
He is approximately 2 years old, currently weighs 85lbs and could stand to gain a little weight. He is very sweet and fantastic with kids, but cats are a no.
As he is (we believe, DNA test pending) a Great Pyrnees mix, a very secure yard will be needed as Livestock Guardian Dogs are prone to roam.
Arthur's adoption fee is $200. He is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.

Carlile is a petite, female German Shepherd that was part of a group of 5 that were dumped in Snoqualmie, emaciated and in filthy condition. She was the least dominant of the group and had multiple wounds on her face and head, likely from fighting for food, possibly due to abuse as well.
While all the dogs were afraid of just about everything in the world around them, Carlile has had the hardest time adjusting. Thanks to some time with a couple of wonderful fosters and her time with a trainer focused on improving her confidence and experiences with new people and other dogs, she is now a dog that will be an excellent family member and companion.
Carlile weighs 50lbs and we believe she’s approximately 2 years old. She is current on vaccines, microchipped, and spayed.
Carlile loves attention and will now seek it from people but is also very independent. She will come to you for some love and then be on her way to explore. She would do great in a home with dog-savvy children.
While working with her confidence trainer, Carlile was exposed to dogs with varying energy levels. When she spent time with a calm energy dog, she mimicked that energy and mannerisms. With a medium energy dog, she was tolerant but had no problem telling the other dog when they were being too much. With high energy dogs, Carlile is uncomfortable and doesn’t do well with them. Given this, she would do great in a home with another low or medium energy dog. She would also be perfectly happy on her own.
We do not recommend that Carlile play at dog parks or other situations where there are a lot of off leash dogs. With her history she would likely be overwhelmed.
